Your data

Privacy Policy

What we collect, why we hold it, who sees it, and how to have it removed.

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. Who we are

Georgia Luxury Tours is a trading name of Stuart Henderson, operating as a sole trader, and is the controller of the personal data described here.

Contact for any privacy question or request: stuart@georgialuxurytours.com

2. The short version

We collect the minimum we need to answer your enquiry and run your trip. We do not sell your data, we do not trade it, and we do not pass it to anyone who is not directly involved in delivering something you asked for. You can ask us to delete it at any time.

3. What we collect

CorrespondenceThroughoutTo keep an accurate record of what was agreed
Technical data — IP address, browser, pages viewedAutomatically when you browseSite security, performance and understanding what visitors find useful

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for payment card details through this website.

4. Health information — handled separately

If you are travelling for treatment, some of what you tell us is health data, which carries stronger protection than ordinary personal information.

We collect it only where you choose to give it, use it only to arrange your appointments and accessibility needs, and share it only with the clinic or practitioner treating you. It is never used for marketing, never shared with any other partner, and deleted on request. Wherever practical, we prefer that you give clinical detail directly to the clinician rather than to us.

5. Why we are allowed to hold it

  • Your consent — for the guide, updates and any marketing email. Withdraw it at any time.
  • Performing our contract — for everything needed to arrange and deliver a trip you have booked.
  • Your explicit consent — for any health information, which we will only ever act on where you have clearly provided it for that purpose.
  • Legitimate interests — for site security, fraud prevention and keeping records of enquiries, balanced against your rights.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain records to comply with the law.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies. Essential cookies are set by WordPress and by our caching system to make pages load correctly and keep the site secure — the site cannot function without them.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site — which pages are read, and whether guides are downloaded. This is aggregate reporting; we do not use it to identify individuals. Google processes this data as a separate controller under its own terms.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site working.

We do not run advertising or retargeting pixels on this site.

7. Who we share it with

Delivering an itinerary means putting you in front of the right people, and that requires sharing certain details. We share only what each partner needs, and only once your trip is confirmed.

  • The partners serving you — clinics, law firms, operators, drivers and accommodation. They receive the details required to serve you and nothing beyond that. They are independent businesses and handle your data under their own obligations.
  • Our hosting provider — Hostinger, which stores the website and its database.
  • Google Analytics — for the aggregate site statistics described above.
  • Authorities — only where we are legally required to.

We never sell your data, and we never share it for someone else's marketing.

8. Where your data goes

Delivering a trip in Georgia necessarily means sending some of your details to providers in Georgia, and our technical suppliers may process data in other countries. Where data leaves your own region, we share the minimum required and rely on the protections offered by the provider concerned.

9. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become bookings: up to 24 months, then deleted.
  • Guide and mailing list sign-ups: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you.
  • Booking records: for as long as needed to meet legal and accounting obligations.
  • Health information: deleted once your trip is complete, unless you ask us to retain it for a return visit.

10. Your rights

Wherever you live, we will honour the following on request:

  • Access — a copy of what we hold about you.
  • Correction — fix anything inaccurate.
  • Deletion — remove your data, subject to records we are legally required to keep.
  • Restriction and objection — limit or object to how we use it.
  • Portability — receive your data in a portable format.
  • Withdraw consent — at any time, including unsubscribing from any email.

Email stuart@georgialuxurytours.com and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge. If you are in the UK or EU and are unhappy with our response, you may complain to your national data protection authority.

11. Security

The site runs over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Enquiry data is stored in the website's own database behind access controls, and access is limited to those who need it to run your trip. No system is perfect, and we will tell affected people promptly if a breach ever puts their data at risk.

12. Children

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. Where a minor travels as part of a family booking, we hold only what is needed for their arrangements, provided by the responsible adult.

13. Other websites

Our pages sometimes link to partners, sources and other sites in our network. Once you leave this site, this policy no longer applies — please read theirs.

14. Changes

If this policy changes, the revision date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes affecting how we use data you have already given us will be notified to you directly.
